Alocasia amazonica (dwarf variety) - 'Bambino'

Origin: Hybrid [though its ‘parent plants’ (Alocasia longiloba x Alocasia sanderiana) are native to tropical Asia]
Light Requirements: Medium- to low-light
Watering: Water thoroughly and let soil dry a bit (not completely!) before watering again. Allow excess water to drain away. Reduce watering significantly in winter (i.e., once every 1 to 1.5 weeks)
Propagation: Plant division
Other: Prefers humidity! Mist daily or place next to a humidifier/near your shower. WARNING: Can cause skin irritation or stomach upset if ingested. Toxic to humans and animals.
